You can never go wrong with watching a fantastic movie on Netflix while snacking on wonderful appetizers and sipping delicious drinks. And you won’t have to go to the hassle of looking for nice movies to watch because we’ve already produced a list of the greatest Netflix movies available.

Here are the top five Netflix movies to watch with your dad on Father’s Day!

Adam’s Project (2022)

The Adam Project is the ideal film to see on Father’s Day. Shawn Levy directed the science fiction picture, which was based on a script co-written by Jonathan Tropper, T.S. Nowlin, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin. The plot revolves around a time-traveling fighter pilot who mistakenly travels back to the year 2022 and enlists the assistance of his 12-year-old self in order to rescue the future. But, in order to complete his goal of rescuing the planet, the time-traveling pilot must also collaborate with his late father, who has additional information.

Ryan Reynolds plays the time-traveling pilot Adam Reed, while Walker Scobell plays a younger Adam Reed. The remainder of the cast includes Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Catherine Keener, and Zoe Saldaa. Although the video is about time travel, the bond between older and younger Adam Reed and their father was really heartwarming to observe. Many individuals, I feel, will be able to connect to the Reeds’ family dynamic. So be sure to add The Adam Project to your Father’s Day watchlist as soon as possible!

Father of the Year (2018)

Father of the Year may have been released in 2018, but it’s one of those movies that you can always go back and revisit, and what better time than Father’s Day? The comedy picture stars David Spade as Wayne, a dumb and irresponsible jobless guy who causes issues for his son Ben by taking a bet far too seriously. It all starts when Ben and his closest friend Larry bet that their fathers could beat each other in a fight. When Wayne shows up on Larry’s father’s doorstep ready to fight, what was intended to be a lighthearted gamble becomes serious. Because of Wayne’s bad behavior, Ben loses his job and has trouble with his relationships.

If you want to watch something hilarious and light with your father tonight, Father of the Year should be on your list.

Fatherhood (2021)

Fatherhood is a drama film directed by Paul Weitz based on a script written by Weitz and Dana Stevens. It’s based on Matthew Logelin’s memoir Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love. The narrative follows Matthew, a widowed father who battles with sorrow and how to nurture his daughter after his wife dies unexpectedly. Kevin Hart plays the primary role and has gotten plaudits for his portrayal. Melody Hurd, Alfre Woodard, Lil Rel Howery, DeWanda Wise, Anthony Carrigan, Frankie R. Faison, and Paul Reiser round out the stellar group. This is a more serious picture, so save it for the end of the night.

Yes Day (2021)

Yes Day is the ideal film to watch on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day! The plot revolves around Allison and Carlos, who decide to offer their children a day when they get to choose the rules. For 24 hours, the parents must say “yes” to their children’s most outlandish demands. Allowing children to do anything they want will only lead to chaos. Jennifer Garner and Édgar Ramrez play Allison and Carlos, respectively. Allison and Carlos’ children are Jenna Ortega, Julian Lerner, and Everly Carganilla. On Father’s Day, we highly recommend seeing Yes Day with your dad. I guarantee he’ll chuckle the entire time.

Hustle (2022)

Hustle debuted on Netflix on June 3 and is certainly doing well. As of June 15, it was placed first on Netflix’s top 10 movie list. The sports drama film stars Adam Sandler as Stanley, a down-on-his-luck basketball scout who uncovers a promising street ball player in Spain. In order to re-enter the NBA, Stanley brings the basketball player to the United States against the wishes of his squad.

Although the film mostly focuses on Stanley and his efforts to resurrect his career, viewers also get to observe his relationship with his daughter, Alex. Stanley spends little time with his daughter because of his profession and has missed numerous of her birthdays. Nonetheless, Stanley makes an effort to maintain a positive relationship with his daughter by making up for missed time whenever possible. We give Hustle a 10/10 and recommend it as one of the first films you watch on Father’s Day.
